Online Terms of Service for Accreditations Platform:

Welcome to the True Value Partnering Institute (d/b/a “TVPi”) online platform providing certifications for business professionals in the legal industry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of our website, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

Eligibility and Registration

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You may need to register for an account and provide certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and payment details. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account updated and secure. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account and for protecting your password. You may not share your account with anyone else or use someone else's account without their permission. You may not use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose, or in any way that violates the rights of others or interferes with the operation of the Services.

Services and Fees

We offer various types of certifications for business professionals in the legal industry, such as the Accredited Legal Pricing Professional (or “ALPP”). You can access the Services through our website or mobile app, where you can view the content, take quizzes, and earn certificates. You can also access additional features and benefits, such as the Intersect conference, by subscribing to one of our plans. The fees and features of each plan are displayed on our website and may vary depending on your location, currency, and payment method. We reserve the right to change the fees and features of the Services at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

Subscription and Renewal

When you subscribe to one of our plans, you agree to pay the applicable fees in advance for the selected term, which may be monthly, quarterly, or annually. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term, unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and following the instructions, or by contacting our customer support. If you cancel your subscription, you will still have access to the Services until the end of your current term, but you will not receive a refund or credit for any unused portion of your fees. You can also change your plan at any time by logging into your account and selecting a different plan. If you upgrade your plan, you will be charged the difference between the new and old fees, and your new term will start from the date of the upgrade. If you downgrade your plan, you will not receive a refund or credit for any unused portion of your old fees, and your new term will start from the date of the downgrade.

Payment and Billing

You authorize us to charge your payment method for the fees and taxes applicable to your subscription and any other purchases you make through the Services. You are responsible for updating your payment information and ensuring that it is valid and sufficient. If your payment method fails or is declined, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, and you may incur additional fees or charges. We may use third-party payment processors to process your payments, and you agree to comply with their terms and policies. We may also offer you the option to pay by invoice, in which case you agree to pay the invoice within the specified time and manner.

Content and Intellectual Property

All the content, materials, and information provided by us through the Services, such as texts, images, videos, logos, trademarks, and certificates, are our property or the property of our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and any additional terms or restrictions that may apply to specific content or features. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Services or any part of them, without our prior written consent. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties, express or implied, of any kind, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, or availability. We do not guarantee that the Services will meet your expectations, requirements, or needs, or that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, or timely. We do not warrant that the Services or the certificates will be recognized, accepted, or endorsed by any third-party, such as employers, institutions, or authorities. You use the Services at your own risk and discretion, and you are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes that may result from your use of the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, losses, or expenses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, or any content, materials, or information obtained through the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, losses, or expenses. In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims, damages, losses, or expenses exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or $100, whichever is greater.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
